I finally got an opportunity to stop in and talk with Candee McCready of Globe Printing on Tuesday. I first met Candee and her two daughters Anah and Bonnie a few months ago at a Lincoln Referral Group meeting, and have been meaning to stop in and see the business ever since. They are located right below the center of Main Street in Lincoln. I say below, because the print shop entrance is slightly below street level at the foot of a short set of stairs.
Globe Printing has been in operation in Lincoln for a while now, but Candee and the girls took over operation in December of last year. They aren’t new to the printing business, though. In addition to the extensive training they received from the previous owner, Candee worked in the printing business back in Deleware.
The shop produces letterheads, forms, brochures, flyers, business cards – pretty much any printing needs a business might have. They also can produce raffle tickets, labels, and color copies. It is their desire to meet any printing needs area businesses might have.
But business printing isn’t their only focus. Candee was excited about their newest product: custom printed cards. They have several different photo designs in stock, and can also create them from your photos and artwork. The cards are printed on quality stock so that the images look great, and come with high-quality envelopes as well. In addition to the art work Globe can print your messages on the outside and inside of the cards. I think they would be perfect for custom greeting, invitation, or thank-you cards. With all the pictures I take, they certainly had me thinking of applications.
If you haven’t had a chance to stop in and visit, I encourage you to stop in. The shop is located on 39A Main Street, and is open Monday through Friday from 9am-2pm, or later by appointment. You can call the shop at 794-2973, or check out their Facebook page at facebook.com/GlobePrintingServices.
